Verm-x Nuggets for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and Hamsters for enhancing and preserving gut health

Verm-x Nuggets are crafted from 100% natural active ingredients, the Verm-X® Original range is suitable for year-round feeding.

It serves as a daily measure for controlling and safeguarding intestinal hygiene. Designed to be chewed, it also promotes healthy and robust teeth.

  • Rabbit: Add one heaped 2.5ml scoop to the daily feed.
  • Guinea Pig: Add one level 2.5ml scoop to the daily feed.

For animals between two and four months old, provide half the adult dosage.

From four months onward, administer the full amount.

Before initiating any product regimen, conduct a Faecal Egg Count (FEC) to establish a baseline. Subsequent faecal tests should be conducted 21 days after the last Verm-X feeding. We advise regular faecal checks for all pets (at least twice a year) to avoid unnecessary control programs.

  8. Slippery Elm: Slippery elm contains mucilage, a gel-like substance that can help soothe and protect the digestive tract. While not directly antiparasitic, it may support overall digestive health, which is important for resisting parasitic infections.
  9. Quassia: Quassia contains bitter compounds called quassinoids, which have been used traditionally as natural insecticides and antiparasitic agents.
  10. Cayenne: Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which has been studied for its potential antiparasitic properties. It may help create an inhospitable environment for parasites in the digestive tract.
